I will say this was my third time with an Iberostar property and I have always been pleased. In fact if you stay on the less expensive side (the Beach and Delmar)-which I have- there really isn't any difference in the food. There wasn't much that I'd consider exceptional. I will say the most average thing about the resort is the food. The room was super awesome and the grounds are just beautiful. I will say that 95% of the service/customer service was beyond awesome! You can go see the concierge (one for each building)and get a golf cart to shuttle you all over the property which is different than just having to stand out in the heat and wait for one. So, we were booked at the Lindo, but somehow, due to them not being able to offer us our requests- they provided a free upgrade which was awesome. The rooms were large with a sitting area and porch. This was a deal breaker in some of the hotels since we have teenagers of different sex. The bathrooms were very nice and PRIVATE. No one else in our group had any complaints on beds. The only down side was our bed had a dip in it but we did not complain to the concierge. I am not sure I could have put the package together without missing something. We booked through Apple and it was a stress free vacation. there were also a few finer shops if you forgot something. If it rained someone was always there to sweep away the water. They made it their mission to make us happy. we used the golf carts at times for transportation and never waited more than a few minutes and our party was for ten. My kids noticed everyone here must love their jobs! We took plenty of dollars for tips. There were times there were large groups at the swim up bar but there is no need to wait, another one is only steps away. Hugo at the pool swim up bar and Hugo at the pool bar took care of everyone. Fresh Fruit, omelets made to order, breads, pastries, We tried most of the restaurants The Japanese one was kind of drawn out but the food was very good. We thought the food selections were awesome. They made heavenly creations for our meals and took special care with our kids food. My kids are both celiac so I always have the fear: will they find something to eat?. My daughter celebrated her 20th birthday and he left a towel cake and rose petals on her bed. Always CLEAN, cold drinks in mini fridge and all the special touches were appreciated. Our family reserved two rooms and he took care of us. The girls 15 & 20 enoyed the beach and pool. The boys (18 year olds) enjoyed the gym, beach and pool activities, food and night life. We met at the pool or beach and again at dinner. I loved not having to worry about everyone. We traveled with 2 other families 15-55 years old age range.
